Allen Root is a senior writer at Barron’s. He spent 17 years on Wall Street and joined Barron’s from broker RW Baird, where he was the industrial strategist.

Sam Sabin, Axios

Sam Sabin is a cybersecurity reporter at Axios and author of the twice-weekly Codebook newsletter. Previously, she was a cybersecurity reporter for POLITICO.

Dominique Mosbergen, The Wall Street Journal

Dominique Mosbergen is a medical science reporter in The Wall Street Journal’s Health and Science bureau. In 2022, she and her colleagues won a Newswomen’s Club of New York’s Front Page Award for Breaking News for their coverage of the fall of Roe v. Wade.

Ellen Sheng, freelance contributor to CNBC.com and other publications. 

Ellen Sheng is a freelance reporter and editor with a focus on business, finance, fintech and sustainability. She’s had bylines in The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Fast Company, among others. She’s also an independent content strategist and ghostwriter. Previously, she was a staff reporter at The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones Newswires.
