Our public relations team plays a vital role at Walker Sands and continues to deliver innovative B2B tech PR programs that receive industry recognition — most recently from the PR Club Bell Ringer and PRSA Skyline awards.
But the stellar work we produce wouldn’t be possible without talented people, which is why I’m thrilled to announce the growth of our PR leadership team with Kellie Sink and Hailey Melmut both elevating to Vice President of Public Relations.
- Kellie Sink to Vice President of Public Relations: Since joining the agency in 2015, Kellie has contributed to the growth of both the PR department and Walker Sands as a whole. She played a critical role in establishing and building out the agency’s HR tech, edtech and healthcare tech practice areas, while growing a team of 11 PR and media relations experts. To further nurture talent across the agency, Kellie recently spearheaded a people manager training series alongside her team of directors. As Vice President of Public Relations, she will co-lead initiatives with Hailey aimed at employee skills acceleration, training and coaching, while continuing to provide strategic counsel for her clients.
- Hailey Melamut to Vice President of Public Relations: Prior to joining Walker Sands through its acquisition of March Communications in 2021, Hailey spent seven years at March leading PR and communications programs for a portfolio of B2B brands. During her time at March and now Walker Sands, she has helped strengthen the agency’s AI and enterprise software practice areas, while also growing a high-performing, award-winning team of PR professionals. In her role as Vice President of Public Relations, Hailey will continue to lead PR strategy for her clients and represent the agency as a board member for the PR Club of New England, while also partnering with Kellie to spearhead Walker Sands’ people development programs.
