At Walker Sands, we know that web design is about more than color schemes and typefaces – our purpose-driven web projects are developed to achieve real business results that align with the goals of our client partners. That’s why we’re honored to receive two 2021 AVA Digital Awards for our web work for NovoEd and Hub Group.
The AVA Digital Awards recognize and celebrate the professionals responsible for the planning, direction, design and production of digital communication, and we’re incredibly proud of our creative and web teams for continuing to produce award-winning work. These awards would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our employees, and we’re so grateful for the opportunities we have to partner with industry-leading companies.
Here’s a recap of the web work recognized by the AVA Digital Awards:
NovoEd Website Redesign
NovoEd’s redesigned website received a Platinum Award in the Business to Business Website category. We partnered with NovoEd, an enterprise learning and development provider, to reposition the company as a tech-forward innovator in the edtech market. Following a full refresh of NovoEd’s verbal and visual identity, our team set out to execute a full website redesign to reflect the new brand, increase conversions and create a more seamless experience for its users. After auditing NovoEd’s current website, the team developed a new persona-driven site architecture and design interface to improve pathways to conversion. The result was a fast, high-performing website with keyword-optimized content that led to an 532% increase in YOY contact form fills and an 208% improvement on NovoEd’s Google Lighthouse site performance score. Hub Group Website Redesign
Our website work for Hub Group, a multi-model supply chain solutions provider, received a Gold Award in the Website Redesign category. The Fortune 1000 company came to Walker Sands looking to evolve its brand perception as a legacy company by repositioning and refreshing its identity to better represent its expanded solutions and technologies. Alongside a successful rebrand, the Walker Sands team produced a cleanly designed, optimized website to showcase Hub Group’s updated identity and better highlight its end-to-end capabilities, improving its Google Lighthouse Best Practices score by 48%.
Congratulations to our clients and talented team members on the fantastic work and well-deserved recognition. We can’t wait to see what web projects they take on next and look forward to the AVA Digital Awards next year!
