Mike Santoro - Senior Account Manager with Walker Sands Communications

Mike Santoro is President of Walker Sands Communications.

As President of Walker Sands, our leading Chicago marketing and PR firm, Mike has applied his marketing and PR expertise to assist a wide variety of Chicago-area, national and international companies. With an unyielding passion for results, he leads Walker Sands team members in ensuring that we always go above and beyond client expectations.

Mike is well known as an integrated marketing and media communications specialist. He is a well respected member of the American Marketing Association (AMA) and the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and focuses on planning and executing successful client marketing plans and media relations programs. In his spare time, Mike blogs on integrated marketing tactics at Duct Tape Marketing, one of the Internet's most popular sales and marketing blogs.

Mike's background is in business to business marketing and technology, stemming from his experience at Technology Advisors Inc., a top CRM consulting firm and reseller of Microsoft and Sage business solutions. Mike headed the marketing department as the Marketing Manager where he advised strategic direction in brand identity, Internet marketing, direct marketing, advertising, and graphic design. Previously, Mike spent two years reporting at the Bugle Newspapers, a Chicago Suburban weekly, and has been independently published at IndustryWeek, CRM Magazine, CRM Marketplace, and Customer Inter@ction Solutions Magazine.
