- Maintain client accounts.
- Assist Senior Vice President with new business development.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with senior-level client contacts.
- Assumes a leadership role in development of marketing strategies to grow client's business and agency revenues.
- Analyze client needs and provide critical insight into the strategies and tactical programs.
- Client presentations.
- Specialize in a practice area (e.g. crisis communications) or industry specialization area (e.g. value added technology resellers).
- Coordinate activities of Account Supervisors and Account Executives.
- 10+ years public relations or marketing experience, at least 5 years in public relations.
- 5 years high-tech agency experience with P&L responsibility preferred.
- Technical background and entrepreneurial experience preferred.
- Extensive people management experience.
- Direct client service at the CEO/President levels
of corporations.
- Experience managing a budget of at least $750,000-$1million
per year.
- Experience managing and mentoring teams.
- Strong ability to prioritize/multi-task and help
others to do so.
- Proven ability to manage projects-both up and
down.
- Familiarity with the high-tech market and landscape.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Superb writing skills.
- Understanding of PR plans, strategy and programs.
- Positive attitude in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Superb problem solving and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of media and analysts, including
developing relationships.
- Reports to Senior Vice President.
- Based on performance, can be promoted to Senior Vice President.
