About Us
Senior Vice President
Responsibilities
  • Obtain and maintain client accounts.
  • Oversee proposal writing and presentation planning for prospective new accounts.
  • Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with senior-level client contacts.
  • Responsible for overall development and servicing of assigned accounts so as to build strong, lasting client/agency relationships and maintain profitability.
  • Hands-on supervision of multiple accounts at the senior executive level.
  • Analyze client needs and provide critical insight into the strategies and tactical programs.
  • Lead a practice area (e.g. investor relations) or industry specialization area (e.g. aerospace).
  • Contribute to firm infrastructure (e.g. enhance methodologies, improve web site, etc.).
  • Mentor Vice Presidents and Account Executives.
Experience Required
  • 12+ years public relations or marketing experience, at least 5 years in public relations.
  • 5 years high-tech agency experience with P&L responsibility preferred.
  • Technical background and entrepreneurial experience preferred.
Education Required
  • BA/BS
  • MBA preferred
Skills Required
  • Extensive people management experience.
  • Direct client service at the CEO/President levels of corporations.
  • Experience managing a budget of at least $750,000-$1million per year.
  • Experience managing and mentoring teams.
  • Strong ability to prioritize/multi-task and help others to do so.
  • Proven ability to manage projects-both up and down.
  • Familiarity with the high-tech market and landscape.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Superb writing skills.
  • Understanding of PR plans, strategy and programs.
  • Positive attitude in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Superb problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Strong understanding of media and analysts, including developing relationships.
