- Obtain and maintain client accounts.
- Oversee proposal writing and presentation planning
for prospective new accounts.
- Cultivate and sustain strong relationships with
senior-level client contacts.
- Responsible for overall development and servicing
of assigned accounts so as to build strong, lasting
client/agency relationships and maintain profitability.
- Hands-on supervision of multiple accounts at the
senior executive level.
- Analyze client needs and provide critical insight
into the strategies and tactical programs.
- Lead a practice area (e.g. investor relations)
or industry specialization area (e.g. aerospace).
- Contribute to firm infrastructure (e.g. enhance
methodologies, improve web site, etc.).
- Mentor Vice Presidents and Account Executives.
- 12+ years public relations or marketing experience,
at least 5 years in public relations.
- 5 years high-tech agency experience with P&L responsibility
preferred.
- Technical background and entrepreneurial experience
preferred.
- Extensive people management experience.
- Direct client service at the CEO/President levels
of corporations.
- Experience managing a budget of at least $750,000-$1million
per year.
- Experience managing and mentoring teams.
- Strong ability to prioritize/multi-task and help
others to do so.
- Proven ability to manage projects-both up and
down.
- Familiarity with the high-tech market and landscape.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Superb writing skills.
- Understanding of PR plans, strategy and programs.
- Positive attitude in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Superb problem solving and organizational skills.
- Strong understanding of media and analysts, including
developing relationships.
