- Manage Walker Sands key accounts.
- Responsible for planning, launching and managing
client marketing initiatives and public relations
campaigns.
- Public relations planning and media relations.
- Place targeted story ideas with high technology
and business media.
- Client presentations.
- Mentor Account Executives.
- 5-7 years public relations or marketing experience,
at least 2 years in public relations.
- 1 year high-tech and 1 year agency experience
preferred.
- Strong understanding of media and analysts, including
developing relationships.
- Take-charge experience managing and working with
teams.
- Proven ability to manage projects-both up and
down.
- Familiarity with the high-tech market and landscape.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Superb writing skills.
- Understanding of PR plans, strategy and programs.
- Positive attitude in a deadline-oriented environment.
- Superb problem solving and organizational skills.
- Strong ability to prioritize/multi-task and help
others to do so.
- Experience pitching the media.
- Strong knowledge of basic computer skills, including
Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Reports to Account Supervisor and Vice President.
- Based on performance, can be promoted to either
